Cold waiting for the bus..

Sitting in the freezing cold at a chilly bus stop for the school bus to arrive was always, a joy when your tired and only just emerging from your shell. The bus would chug up the slope doors squeaking as the doors opened and the sound of squashed boisterous children emerging from within. After struggling your way over the assault course of elbows knees and satchels you located if you were lucky a space to fall into. Then started the rounds of arm hitting and ear tickling with the sporadic time for conversation before the mass exodus when we at long last arrived at school and chose whether we forced into the queue or paused till it thinned out and made a direct route for the school yard, the joys of an independent school.

The hard decision.....

Often it can be a hard decision as to where to send your kids to school. You may want to send them to the local primary school while your partner may think that another option is better. British boarding schools are an option contemplated by many families in the UK. There has been a rise in the number of boarding schools in England and they are also becoming more popular with parents in the UK.
